thuja_design_evolution

An update of my "Abor Vitae", Thuja Occidentales, Eastern white cedar ....

Slowly, very slowly i am approaching my design-vision ...

If you want to obtain such raw-material, than ask the owner of your local

garbage-dump.

Each spring and autumn  a whole lotta stumps will be tossed out of the gardens

in your  neighborhood ... So simple is that ...  (Just an example ...)

The rest is gentle work with the creature in empathy and passion for the wonder of creation ...

strange_prunus_cerasifera

This tree has got totally different stories or characters depending on the viewing-sites.

No other tree-design in my collection shows this different statements so dramatically.

A strange design, maybe i failed  and spoiled the tree-design, i can not exclude this possiblity,

But anyway,  the story of this Prunus will continue either way...

Personally i like to think about which viewing-site is best ..

linden_stump_designed

Couldn't wait untill weekend.

The tree now shorter and denser.

And you all were right: Technically this Linden is rather a stump than a clump.

The apex is a bit weak, but will improve due to the apical-dominance of deciduous trees.

Not the best design yet, but give her another five years ...

update_linden_clump

Pictures "naked" without leafes, just before the new styling-session ...

'Couldn't finish the tree today. The weekend will bring on a freshly designed linden_clump ...

a_simple_thuja_occidentalis

In the sense of the thread-title,
a 4,99 € tree at the very beginning-stage of its development.
About 25 cm high above soil-level.
Two years under my control.
Nottin special buta ...
i am a fool for eastern white cedar, can't help it ...

update_small_leaved_prunus

I think the Prunus cerasifera is doing well.
Sorry for the helmet-shaped crown-design.
I will fix that in the near future, the green parts of the composition are too
small anyway ...

update_lindenclump

A picture as of today just for the record.
In spring there is a word in German to discribe the colouration: "lindgrün".
'Could be translated as "linden-green".
This fesh green-hue will turn to a much darker one very soon.
What a pitty, but such is springtime ...
